In 2019, the Moroccan and British governments signed an agreement regarding the system of British schools in Morocco. This agreement established a framework for British private and international schools to operate in Morocco, providing a British-style education. It covers aspects such as curriculum, teacher recruitment, and student enrolment.
In 2023, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed to increase the use of English language assessment in Moroccan public universities. This agreement aims to enhance collaboration between Moroccan and British higher education institutions. These agreements represent significant steps in strengthening educational cooperation between Morocco and the UK. They promote the exchange of knowledge, skills, and best practices in education.
